The first Fibre Quest yarn and fibre show will be taking place on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th March 2022 at Fernhill Farm, Compton Martin, Somerset. The show is the product of a collaboration between Fernhill Farm Open Day and Blade Shearing Tournament with the Stitch Fest South West team.
We are bringing our industry back to the farm…welcoming exhibitors with natural, low-impact plant & animal fibres, natural dyes, earthy crafts, shearing skills, sheep dog training and more.
There will be a programme of traditional textile skills workshops held over the weekend and a series of talks to inspire and educate. You can observe some of the top blade shearers in the land do their job and see sheepdog handling close at hand.
