Knit for Peace are taking a well-deserved rest and ask that no knitting is sent to arrive with them between 12th December and 13th January.
They are currently in need of:
– Large and medium blankets (6×5 or 3×6 ft)
– Adult and child size jumpers as well as school cardigans
– Adult socks and gloves
But don’t need children’s hats or baby items at the moment.
Their December raffle contains 47 balls of wool generously donated by Blacker Yarns. It offers 14 balls of DK, over 20 balls of 2 ply, 15 balls of lace weight & more. £5 an entry
There are still prizes to be had in the Christmas Yarn Tombola – Everyone’s a winner. Each prize gets on average a kilo of yarn. Money raised will go toward their appeal to help abused women.
