Katharine at Woolly Rebellion has launched a kickstarter for a temperature blanket make-a-long to help get a new yarn into her shop. There are several reward options and ways to get involved with the make-a-long, not all of them making a whole blanket or committing to a full year of daily crafting so do check out the project page.
This project is a culmination of two goals for me. I want to knit a temperature blanket in 2022 and I want to add a new yarn to the Woolly Rebellion shop, namely West Yorkshire Spinners ColourLab DK.
I was thinking that it would be nice to do a Make-a-long (MAL) for the temperature blanket and at the same time, I was wishing I knew how much demand there might be for this particular yarn.
Eventually, the penny dropped and I realised I could do a Kickstarter project to take care of both things.
