Easyknits have a new self striping Zebra yarn along with some gradient and ombré Gemini sets in this week’s shop update.
ZEBRA – This is the most excited I’ve been when dyeing a new yarn, that I can remember in a long while. The Yarn base is ‘Highland Wool’, a non-superwash, slightly more rustic feeling base, which in my personal opinion is absolutely beautiful. The yarn has a white-grey-black fade that runs through one of the 2 plies, giving an intermittent ‘barber-pole / striping’ effect, which is just wonderful. It has that slightly ‘sticky’ feel of a more traditional yarns, which makes it knit up really beautifully.
