Hello Yarn Lovers, It’s SALE week! It’s also inventory week and I’m feeling slightly guilty because I’m actually off on vacation today for a few days, which means I’m leaving the team to count everything without me. I left them pizza money, does that make up for it? All joking aside inventory is a necessary evil of running a retail business and one that we are constantly doing in some form or another but at least once a year we have to count absolutely everything for our year end thus the “We don’t want to count the inventory SALE”was born because let’s be honest counting everything isn’t all that much fun. There are some truly incredible deals to be had this year like 40% off Hedgehog Fibres Merino DK & Aran, 30% off Shibui Knits Cima, Fern & Staccato, 25% off lots of our sock yarns and don’t even get me started on the patterns – we have a basket of single patterns that are just £2 each! There are also £15, £10 and £5 buckets of luxurious yarn on offer as we are really looking to make space this year and keep our counting to a minimum. The sale starts tomorrow Thursday 27th June at 9:30am and runs through Saturday 29 June 3pm and is an in-store only event. (There will likely be some sale things that go online next week too for those of you bummed that you live too far to visit in person). We will then be CLOSED on Sunday 30th June to count everything. I say “we” – I mean the team as I’ll be checking out the markets and eating all the amazing food in Marrakech for the next few days. I really do feel a little bit guilty… |
